Or is it a minority now?
There have been rumours concerning British schools removing the Holocaust from their curriculum due to the Muslim faith denouncing the fact that a large part of our history happened. Personally, it's only been six years since I took World War history for my GCSEs and I think it's appalling to even consider removing it from our teaching.
Children need to be taught that this type of atrocity is common in our history. The Holocaust, the Russian Revolution under Stalin, the Weimar Republic, the Iraq Wars... I don't think that any child should be refused schooling in this area. I would like to think that any child of mine will grow up knowing that this happened and there are people capable of this.
My question is this; do you agree that children should be taught this from the age of 13 OR should this be scraped all together?
