Should be on DVD

Are you serious?

And you are saying you do not know what language A Star Is Born was filmed in?

I've never seen the movie, but I at least know that it was filmed in english.

I think you are confusing language options with dubbed english soundtracks. If a movie was made in english, and you select the english option when you are watching the dvd then you are watching the film in it's ORIGINAL language - why on earth would they look like they are 'speaking in another language'?

As someone else pointed out, there are rare occasions when movies made in English that are produced in other countries may not have the original english soundtrack as an option, but that is rare - the vasy majority of them will always have it.

I said what I said for films that weren't originally made in English. I've no knowledge of the film at all. This is the reason for my [to you] confusion in it.

Yes, one of the most maligned entries in Robert Aldrich's canon, in any format. The last I ever heard of it was a BBC screening way back in 1991. His demented 1968 Legend Of Lylah Clare also seriously deserves a digital dusting-off.

Love and Pain and the Whole Damn Thing

starred Maggie smith .

I love this film but it hasn't been on tv since the 80's AFAIK .

has it ever been on dvd ?
