Should all motor sports be banned?

No..I want to see a tripling of all motor sports..don't believe all this crap you hear about the Planet dying.... its all for a reason ..to get us to pay more taxes...its a con....

In view that motor sports (motor racing, rally cross, motorbike racing, truck racing etc) are a waste of precious remaining hydrocarbon fuel reserves, should there be a worldwide ban on these sports?
As regards other sports & other activities that either directly or indirectly use fuel to enable spectators to reach the ground or for people to fly say from Paris to Miami, there is a PURPOSE for these.

Motor sports, on the other hand, race around a track, use up a lot of hydrocarbons simply to produce a winner.
