Should Alcohol Be Hiked Up By 100%?

To stop the socially disadvantaged from buying it and causing mayhem on Britain's streets. Is this the price they must pay for not suffering in silence and enjoying the cheap drink that competitive market forces provide.
 
omg no!!!
people will always buy alcohol no matter what the price.
raising the prices too much could even lead to more shoplifting.
not to mention shops, pubs and clubs will lose money cause people wont be able to afford to buy drinks.
i've never caused trouble while drunk, why should inicent people suffer?
 
no way . make it that you have to be 25 year old to buy alcohol any where in uk . shops bars etc
 
not the way to go . all that would achieve is to put people out of jobs and close businesses down
 
Doubling the amount of alcohol in a drink would be a bit foolhardy, don't you think.
