I randomly get these short, sharp pains in the area of my heart (left side of my chest, right where my heart is). They last only for a few seconds each time, then go away completely. They come at totally random times. Sometimes they are several months apart, to the point where I forget I had them in the first place. But sometimes they happen a few times in one day. I'm a 16 year old female, if that helps. I read up on Precordial Catch Syndrome, but I don't know if pains from PCS only last a few seconds like mine do. Thanks.
