i saw so much race in faces
people being judged cause they from different places
we're no black jack winners who stole the aces
and i stand my ground screaming stop being racist

a chick with a scarf and a veil walks by
the whisperings start people saying "oh my"
dont be alarmed my lady you lookin so fly
your soo different sweet heart I'm lovin' that style

and now my hispanic lady walks by
the whispering starts people saying "oh my"
dont be alarmed my lady your lookin so fly
your soo different sweet heart I'm lovin that style

i see my African lady she walks by
the people start to whisper saying oh my
dont be alarmed my lady your looking so fly
your soo different sweet heart i'm lovin that style

you can be swedish baby
chinese too
yaw all look pretty
yes you do
you can be my lady
I'll be your man
regardless baby
of the color in which you stand


A little something something i just wrote off the top of my head ...btw this is a mans prospective... dont judge me.... rate it freely tho....

That's a born poet right there.
I do so love people that express truth in their poems.
And I agree with lovechild. This poem has the potentiality of becoming a song. If it does become a song, please notify us. I'm interested in seeing this as a famous poem or song.
 
you know that you have a song here, right? Now. Proceed very carefully and sell it to someone who actually embodies the perspective. I can definitely see Ginuwine doing this one. Make a little money from it too. You got a talent for current issues and a bit of foresight about what will become issues. Use that, it is okay to show the world who and what you want to.
