I cannot believe they are remaking this movie, sorry if i done a thread about this, i cannot remember.

But its true folks, they are remaking a classic film Short Circuit and to be honest i dont see anything wrong with the original.

Hollywood is starting to scare me.

Not sure who they'd cast as Jonny 5 though.

It's a classic and still watchable today. Why remake it? Will probably be a CGI robot as well :-(

i was shocked when i saw that The Wicthes is getting a remake, do films over 20 years old automatically warrant a remake?

i loved the orignal!!! it was the second VHS i had ever bought in 1989!!! which i still have and love.

the remake is going to be crap i know it is!!!!. i guess that means there never was gonna be a 3rd movie after i had so many hopes!!!!!

They really should leave this alone! Along with Ghostbusters and the Goonies it was one of the seminal movies of my childhood.

Pointless remake. The original movie is still entertaining. Ally Sheedy and Steve Guttenberg are great in it (as is the Indian doctor guy, Benjamin). And how could it be the same without the voice of Number 5?

My god, what are they going to remake next? Gremlins?.

I started to like remakes, but now its getting silly, at first i thought ah its only a remake but then i realize hollywood is running out of ideas big time.

I heard a rumor they where thinking of remaking gremlins once, but now they are thinking of doing Gremlins 3 its in the talks at the moments. They are also thinking of doing Ghostbusters 3.
