The Durango has coilover front shocks which means you have to take the springs off and put the shock inside of it and remount. You need a spring compressor to do, but I would take to a shop. It will cost a couple hundred bucks. The rear shocks are easy two bolts. Also you say shock, but you should always replace shocks in pairs, front two, rear two or all four.
