Imagine if Obama was on his way to Germany, and the German Chancellor said "bitch, if you fly over my country, I'll have your jet shot down!"
 
stronger than most of their neighbors, still lacking in some key areas that would allow them to project force much further than their own borders

I think a new war with Israel vs. the middle east would go over as any modern war does.. whoever establishes air superiority wins. Israel vastly outguns any other country, no?
 
Turkey has all those durka countries to back it up. Everyone that hates Israel would attack at once. It's in The Art of War, bro.
 
The last line is a given. They have improved a good bit since the Iran/Iraq war though. That's why I made my descriptor relative to their neighbors. In a stand up fight with someone like the US they don't fare well, or even against a coalition of their neighbors.....but right now they're close to the baddest kid in their neighborhood, although I think Saudi Arabia probably would stand toe to toe and win due to training/technology/resources.
 
of all the "islamic" nations in the world to beef with israel....the most moderate and secular
 
I'd like to see what would happen since Turkey is a NATO ally and I think all NATO members are required to assist other members in military conflicts
