I REALLY hope Imagawa is still directing this. He was on the cast originally, but there were rumours he was fired. Every super robot show that guy has touched has been gold.

G Gundam, Giant Robo (plus the Ginrei OVA's), Tetsu-jin 28, he was even the producer of Aura Battler Dunbine, every one of those was an amazing masterpiece of pure epicness, I hope Imagawa directs this too, only he could take Mazinger and make it even more wonderful

Man, Remakes are really the thing in Japan nowadays huh? Nanoha, Eva, DBZ (or I guess it would be DBK now), Gurren Lagaan, Eureka Seven, FMA and now this? I wonder what's next?
