Shikabane Hime

Ya that would be interesting considering she's obsessed with death and he had her blushing that one time. He is dressed as a priest in the ed so thats a pretty solid hint.
I think Minai was a waste of character though. Not only did she have a cool personality, I thought she had the coolest fighting style. She was bad @ss with just her hanRAB and feet.
 
Epic 12th episode, Keisei died trying to kill the betrayer priest but past his contract on to Oori before he did so now Oori is contracted to Makina, Makina then went crazy with all the power she was getting from Oori and killed the corpse who killed her 2 years ago, Oori was being killed because he wasn't use to the strain that Makina was putting him under but for some strange reason the Betrayer Priest did a spell to save him.
 
Omg was that friggin crazy. Ori is contracted to Makina, wow. For some reason I always thought he would get contracted to a different hime, but now that I look at it I guess it was obvious. The hime that they've been calling the strongest lived up to her reputation, shes nasty with them sworRAB.

Now I'm really wondering about the biggest mystery in this show, the black cat. He almost seemed happy that Ori was in pain. And it was interesting when he said this was what Ori had always wanted. At times though it seems as if the cat is looking out for him. So his motive is foggy for the moment.

The strength Makina gained from Ori was incredible. This must mean that Ori has great spiritual power. This has to be linked to the black cat and his facination with death and deaths facination with him. It's obvious something very important happened to Ori when he was younger just from the way he acted when he was brought to the orphanage. Not to mention Keisei was the one who brought him back from what seemed like a mission. He must of saved him from some supernatural circumstances.

Season 2 will definitely be interesting. Ori doesnt look at the shikabanes like most people do, so I'm pretty sure some romance is going to develop between him and Makina. Also he doesnt like the way the priests run things, so there will definitely be some conflict of ideals there.

And one last thing, we were so close to finding out what happened to the betrayer priest and his shikabane. For some reason I want to know what happened between them so bad.
 
Ya she did. The funny thing is she thinks its a real cat. She also touched it when she was petting him. This has to hold some significance.
 
It was pretty good although a little corny. The setup has potential so I'll await the next episode. I disliked Makina's voice, but it might take a little getting used to. I don't know, I didn't feel it suited her. Itsuki's voice was a lot better.

The art and animation were kind of disappointing. It just didn't have that "bang" that the action sequences deserved.

Funny note. They already planned a second season while the first season just started airing.
 
Plus it wasnt the first time she had seen it. She said she had seen Ori with him a few times. I think hes some kind of spiritual entity considering the fact he can disapear at will and walk through walls. There hasnt been any corpses with those kind of abilitys to date. So if he is a corpse hes a very powerful one.
 
He's said a few dodgy kind of things to Oori which doesn't make sense considering Oori saved the cat, maybe its something else just taking on that form.
 
Some shows have really bad first episodes so I can't judge everything from just this, but my first impression usually isn't far off. The only time I was really off was with Berserk. I watched the first episode and said: "what the hell is this crap" and dropped the series. After continuously reading good reviews about it and hearing nothing but positive things I gave it another swing. Episode 1 indeed still sucked a$$, but the rest of the show was amazing.

But like I said I'm usually not far off. At least it's entertaining, which is a minimum requirement for me to watch it.
 
Second episode of the new series is out and it was one of the best ones yet, i was really hoping that they were all gonna get it on after the contract priests turned up with there shikabane hime but i guess it was too early for that type of confrontation.
 
Ya they got shook when all the power players showed up. I was hoping for a showdown, but it was still fun watching the little white haired girl (forgot her name) beat up on Makina like she was nothing. And thats with the curse weakening her. Thats the main reason they retreated though was the curse on the temple that weakens corpses.
