We all know the strengths and weaknesses of the many models of M4's but I can't buy this "we needed to out produce them in quantity not quality" . Who cares how good it is as long as you make heaps of them, is most peoples views and generally bag the Germans for over engineering their vehicles (more the Later ones). I believe the Germans did over engineer but the Sherman should have been better or at least later style models earlier. Couldn't there have been a compromise on both sides to make a better tank, what are your views. Cheers Big John
