Sherlock Holmes Thread: Come on fans, come out of the woodwork!

I saw this last night and I absolutely loved it.

Name: Kara.
Age: 17.
Where from?: Minnesota.
Why did you go to see SH?: Rachel McAdams.
What were you pleasantly surprised by in the film?: I didn't know anything about it going in (except, you know, the obvious) and I wasn't expecting any humor at all, so the fact that it made me laugh was wonderful.
What did you not like about it?: I don't know, there isn't a whole lot I didn't enjoy.
 
so only five more days until the DVD?! I can't wait to rewatch! With Rep Men and Iron Man 2 coming up I just want RDJ and JL back together on my tv screen :love:
 
May I recomend him in Chaplin and Home for the Holidays. Two of his earlier movies that he's just wonderful in and are great movies to begin with.
 
she and robert have amazing chemistry and I think they play off each other perfectly :love: I love that it seemed she was in love with holmes and was torn between her job and loving him :nod: Rachel did wonderful portraying the character. I loved watching her pick pocket people and be devious :lol:
 
I love this movie! I thought it was going to be okay, but it suprosed me and was such and awesome movie!

I love the chemistry that RDjr. and J.Law had. i mean if they didn't have that spark then the movie wouldn't have worked at all!! I can't wait for the second movie!!

i think she did good but she wasn't it the movie long enough to great a real sense of her role....not that i wanted to see her a lot...just in general she could have been better
 
I liked it better the second time I saw it and I like Irene better the second time too.
 
I am on a kick ALL things RDj right now. I just watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and am searching youtube for any and everything RDJ. He just fascinates me!

I do think it's good enough to see twice, I want to catch all the details I missed the first time around.

I adore her usually too and I was very surprised that I didn't like her in it. I'm curious, what did you love about her in the role? I just like hearing what other people thought besides myself, I tend to be too opinionated sometimes and like to try and see both sides of things. :)
