Shaw to Bell TV..

are there any "special offers" out there aside from whats on the website... I know with Shaw I traded in an old bell receiver for a shaw HD receiver.. was wondering if there is a similar offer with bell?

After 2 years with shaw.. had it up with their crappy HD selection.. going back where the grass is greener ;)
 
what makes you think the grass is greener. just because they have more channels right now means nothing, Bell is out of Sat space and wont be adding new channels in the future, so i'm told.
 
They are out of space until they switch to 8PSK (April 1st) and MPEG4 (date unknown at this time).

Each provider has pros and cons, you have to decide which ones you are willing to live with and which ones are deal breakers.
 
I took Shaw up on their 'come back us' offer of a free HD PVR and I am pretty sure that I will be cancelling it and un-cancelling Bell (runs out on Mar 27 so I have time to decide).

The PQ on Shaw seems worse and I like the BellTV HDPVR hardware better.

Bell has some crazy retention deals, but I don't know what they offer new customers.
