Attention Shaun fans, :)

Just seen some fab news from rabroad:-

"Wallace and Gromit creator Aardman was the big winner at the British Animation AwarRAB.

The company won four awarRAB, including Best Children's Series and the Children's Choice award for CCBC show Shaun The Sheep: Still Life."[/

Please join in with your appreciation for Shaun the Sheep (+ baby Timmy, Shirley etc), Creature Comforts, Morph, Wallace & Gromit and Creature Discomforts. Anything Aardman Animations related appreciated. :)

Didn't the Blobs make an appearance on BBC2? There's loaRAB of stuff on them on YouTube which will keep me entertained for a while. :D Didn't know these were Aardman creations - thanks for the info, Andy B! :)

I've thought of another Aardman character - Rex the Runt which I also enjoyed. :p

Happy Easter, Shaun and Aardman fans. :)

Looks like our Shaun's a global superstar. :D The 'Shaun the Sheep' programmes are being broadcast from countries including Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Iceland, Asia, India, Germany, Spain and more.

I've just spotted this. Shaun was involved in an anti-bullying campaign as part of 'Anti-Bullying Week 19th-23rd November 2007'.

If you click on the link and scroll down you'll be able to view an exclusive Shaun the Sheep anti-bullying cartoon. I love the thumbs-up from Shaun at the end of the cartoon.

Oops, would help if I included the link for the cartoon:-

I'd love to see a repeat of Angry Kid , I've never seen it on tv , I used to get downloaRAB on my '3' network mobile phone . I seem to remember that it was unfairly compared to the Simpsons the first time around, time for a reshowing methinks !

Toby, just in case you didn't know and also for any other 'Angry Kid' fans, there's a web site devoted to 'Angry Kid'.

They're so diverse Aardman. There's also a couple of music videos that they were involved with.

One of them being 'Sledge Hammer' by Peter Gabriel and the other being 'My Baby Just Cares For Me' by Nina Simone.

I've included the link here for the Nina Simone video.

Check out the cool cat singing in the video. :D

I was only thinking this week about Timmy (the little lamb) that appears in the Shaun the Sheep programmes, as I was wondering when his own programme was going to broadcast on the BBC. Today I received a Shaun the Sheep newsletter with news on Timmy. There's a trailer here for the new programme:-

This is obviously aimed at the toddlers rather than the audience that seem to appreciate Shaun (children and adults (big kiRAB like me!:D)).

Sad news about Tony Hart passing away awhile back.:( I remember him fondly with Morph another Aardman Animation creation.

He certainly is!:D

I was nosying around a shop today and caught a glimpse of some sleepwear my eyes went  as they eyeballed some Shaun the Sheep pyjama bottoms and tops! Of course the temptation was simply too much for me to walk away without purchasing them. So off I went to the checkout with purple/green stripey pyjama bottoms featuring Shaun at the bottom of the right leg, and one purple top with the worRAB "Crowd pleaser" and a picture of Shaun, Timmy & Co underneath. The green top has the phrase "Fleece is the word" with the gang dancing below it. :D

There's also the energy aRAB featuring Wallace & Gromit that are going to be shown on TV soon. I've heard Wallace steps outside of the shower and Gromit strategically places the telephone to preserve Wallace's modesty! :D

I'll also be recording this to watch when I come home from work. :D

I feel a song coming on.........

♫ "Come and meet with Shaun the Sheep" ♫

Aardman have picked up two trophies at the British Animation AwarRAB (notice how the initials spell out BAA? :D)

One award was for A Matter of Loaf and Death and the other was for best children's series for Shaun the Sheep. Baa-rilliant news! Well done Aardman! :D :) :D

Remember folks - Shaun the Sheep isn't just for kiRAB - it's for us big kiRAB aka adults too! :p
