Shattered on Univeral

Hi

I watched the first episode of a series called Shattered last night and I thought I would start a thread to see firstly if anyone else watched it and secondly what others thought of it.

The series started last night (Monday the 18th Oct) on Univeral - I think this is the Hallmark Channel with a name change? - and it stars Callum Keith Rennie (which is what piqued my interest in the first place) as a detective with multiple personality disorder.

I thought the first episode was pretty good, it had some interesting tweaks that make it a show that I believe will be one to watch. It has only just started in the states so I don't know if another season will be made or if it will be another one season wonder, but I think if you like other detective shows you will find this a nice fit too.

For those who missed it, if you have Sky Anytime then you can watch the first episode whenever you like until this Saturday (23rd Oct)

I would recommend it but my tastes ain't for everyone.

Watched a couple of episodes at Canadian pace but gave up on it. Too same to other procedurals and the different bit I found silly. don't know how they intend to keep it up for an entire series let alone a second one if it gets renewed - thouugh Canadian viewing figures and that good! Shocked that Universal is showing a new series so close to Canadian broadcast! They should air Republic of Doyle which returns to Canadian Tv with series 2 in january and IMO is miles better and funnier!

It hasn't aired in America at all. The show is Canadian, as Spaintv implied above.

I didn't like the first episode when it aired in Canada so I didn't watch any more episodes after that. The series isn't doing well in Canada so I doubt it will get a second season.
