I was sitting at my desk in 5th period and I shifted my right leg and turned a little bit to the left to face my friend in the desk next to me when all of a sudden a sharp pain shoots up my arm and stops at my shoulder joint. The pain lasts for about 8 seconds then dissipates. During that time I will admit I had a mini freak out thinking it was a heart attack symptom but I don't know why a 5' 2" 107 Ibs 17 year old female who has only ever smoked at total of 10 times and has no history of diabetes or high cholesterol would. But after the pain past I told my friends about it laughing and went to go grab my friends pencil with my left hand. As I moved my shoulder up the pain returned. I couldn't move or put weight on shoulder joint for the rest of the day and part of yesterday. Even today I can't put weight on it. It's incredibly painful and I don't understand. I am not at all athletic, I am right handed, haven't done anything strenuous recently. I don't get it. Lately I have been having some problems with breathing and believe I may have pneumonia due to my symptoms. Could this be behind it?
