Sharp Pain in Lower Abdomen

I am an 18 Year old male, and just recently, within the past few hours, started getting a severe pain in my Lower Abdomen whenever I bend over, or any time there's even a slight bit of pressure on the region. Accompanying the Sharp Pain is almost a shooting pain where my.... "Bit" connects to the rest of the body. I am able to urinate without pain though.

So does anyone know what the Sharp Pain is?

There are several things that come to mind. Do you have fever, nausea, the runs?? Have you ever had your appendix out? Have you eaten gaseous foods such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, melons?? Or have you been lifting weights or doing other strenuous exercises recently? Does your back also ache? I'm thinking of the possibilities of appendicitis, hernia, irritable bowel syndrome, or a badly strained internal muscle. Could also be a kidney stone, but you're very young. I wouldn't wait too long to see you doctor in the event it's appendicitis. See how you feel in the morning..........or if it gets worse in the night, please go to the ER. Whatever it is, sounds like it's 'fixable', but may need some attention. Hope you feel better real soon!
