Its possible and I just did it .

I used Python for S60 and Raccoon.

For all you non-believers, here's a screenshot:

Its past 1.30 a.m. and I'm quite tired. I'm going to post a detailed screenshot guide tomorrow.

PS: You need a data connection (or Wi-Fi) for it to work.

EDIT: Catchier title!

its old news. Python was out last year for these phones when the Apache webserver came out that allowed you to run a complete website on it.

I would like to know if he had access to the system folders.
I think it is very interesting, its not just a question of using raccoon.

Please illuminate us!!!

I'll definitely include the system folders in my walkthrough as well.

The walkthrough is coming. It couldn't happen today as I was doing some major revamping and recoding of my blog and my webpage.

Its 3 a.m. and that's finally done.

I'll get down to writing the review tomorrow.

The walkthrough is done:

Yes, system folders can be seen, you just need to disable some security settings in the htaccess.

Raccoon in itself isn't a front-end app. Its meant to be used in the back-end.
Example projects:
You can use this app to use your mobile phone through firefox or your mobisite can show your whereabouts in real-time.
http://wiki.opensource.nokia.com/projects/MWS:CoolStuff : see the implementation of these two projects using Raccoon.

I tweaked my httpd.conf and yes, its possible to browse your phone folders from the computer. Its nice to download your own phone files!
I cant have access to the hidden system folders (sys, private), I didnt found any option to let them show-up.

To the O.P and Darla, I have gotten everything installed and set up, BUT when I click on the phone number the black pop-up comes up and I click dial and it says "dialing" but I get nothing. Phone just sits there. Am I going to pick up the phone or is the call going through my computer?
