I checked this one out today. I saw the ending, I liked the ending. Shaggy and Scooby did the trick all of the Scooby Doo villains did, which is pretend to be a ghost and / or monster. It is nice role reversal.

Though not the first time, they turned the tables and used the phony monster gimick to beat the bad guys. I remember they did that to catch the ghost of Hyde, by dressing up as the ghost of Hyde in the first Scooby series.

This is the first episode I've seen this season (I've given up on television but since the cardio machines at my gym have a TV I decided to use that as an incentive to do my Saturday Morning cardio). I enjoyed it. I love the way they used a twisted version of "The Scooby-Doo formula" to drive the story; everything from the legend behind the creature to Scooby being more afraid of Shaggy than the villains to the mispronunciation of the creature's name each time its mentioned to the crazy plan at the end. Glad to know that Shaggy and Scooby continues to be a fun show in season two.

This was actually a good episode. I remember reading about that bird like creature, whatever the heck the name was, in my Latin American literature course. The plot about Shaggy and the super suit and Scooby getting annoyed by that was good, but not very original. After all, that also happened on "The Real Ghostbusters" and probably many other series as well.

You know, maybe I was too tired to get that, but now I can see. Role reversal. Shaggy pretneding to be a "ghost" instead of the other way around. I like the show, yes... but it is only worth watching for Phineas Phibes, a very eccentric villain IMO, and with a little dash of Peter Seller's mad scientist from Dr. Strangelove.... I just love that character. I thought last weeks was funnier, and if they worked it up a bit, it could have worked for a series finalie (that plot anyway).

But I just loved Shaggy's inability to control the suit, and just bump and stumble around.

An OK episode...

Times Shaggy's played "superhero" before:

- Vaguely recall some "Scooby and Scrappy Doo" short with him (after amnesia) becoming "Super Teen"?

- "A Pup Named Scooby Doo": Shaggy (with amnesia again) thinks he's Commander Cool (his favorite comic book superhero).
