Sh󭤮 JUMP (2009 Talkback)

I want to tell Viz to re-do the Dragonball volumes (Starting with the volume where they started editing it).

Also, is Viz still doing Ultimate Muscle ( Kinnikuman 2 ) manga's?

I do have some more complains but there to much.

(And Tokyopop, don't think I'm not mad at you what you did to Shin Lupin III...)

Heck, I wish that Viz would release part 1 & 2 of JoJo and bring Reborn and JJBA Part 3 to a 2 month release.

But I know that won't happen. But they could probably tell us the release date for a Naruto guide or pack of pencils I could care less for.

wait bobobo is leaving?

great...one less thing Ill be reading in shonen jump, ultimo is alright though...

God, viz, release the bobobo mangas..

On a somewhat related note, Viz also updated their volume releases through to March on their website.

No real surprises on that front, except, most disappointingly, it seems they're cutting short their release of Kurohime and stopping at volume 14. Granted it's a rather minor and silly series, but I hate to have one I (or anyone else) started canceled.

Also, for a second there I thought they were bumping up Reborn! to bimonthly releases, but I double checked this morning and sadly no, they're not.

And still no Neuro

So as to not be totally negative on this post, they also posted the final volumes of both Yu Yu Hakusho and Knights of the Zodiac. I very much doubt we'll get any of the Saint Seiya spin-off series, but it's nice to at least see the ending of the original one.

Volume 26 of Hunter x Hunter isn't coming out until January. I wonder if Togashi will return to it before Viz catches up (also add D. Gray-man to that list).

On a even less related note, they've added a Shonen Sunday section.

Eh... God would have been ideal, but I don't mind Kami as an alternate choice - since Skypeia's God is more of a title, anyways, and it gives off shades of Kami from Dragonball who's ALSO a non-omnipotent guy who just-so-happens to be in charge of everything. They certainly could have done worse.

Looks like they are using "Kami" going by the title being used for Volume 26

DBZ's Kami had a floating "island" in the sky (not near as nice as Eneru's island though)

If they keep at this pace, the Pain arc will be concluded in two more issues

In DBZ it made a lot more sense in the dub, IMO, with Kami being called a guardian, since he was not omnipotent and the Kais were more equivalent to goRAB in the DBZ world anyway.

Here it also makes sense, though when a true "god" would come in a series, it would make more sense to call them that, a being akin to one of the greek or egyptian goRAB. Hell, even yugioh called them the "Egyptian goRAB".

If they're doing 4 chapters per issue, we're actually keeping pace with japan, and will remain constantly 18 chapters(2 volumes) behind, which seems acceptable to viz.

Sh

Except...not really. For all intens and purposes, Kami-sama and Dende have always been referred to as the God of Earth. Meaning each planet has a 'god'. While yes, the Kai
