SGH-Z540 Flash and Software

Hi,

hope this is the right place to post for my new SGH-Z540. It is the german vodafone version. The Vodefone firmware is really an offence. Has someone an idea were to get the original Samsung firmware and how to flash it to the phone?

Another thing is that it isn't possible (maybe that is based on the Vodafone firmware) to upload any java programs to the phone via USB/Bluetooth. Maybe some has a hint for me.

I have the same drama but with an australian version of the phone.. Vodafone live branded stuff sucks.... From my research im pretty sure NSDongle will flash it and at the moment Usbsmart is only supporting up to Qualcomm Z510 but not the V branded Z540...
If I am wrong please someone correct me.....

i have the same problem with the german version (z540v) of the samsung mobile. any ideas? how to flash or something else!

i have a solution for this. i bought a samsung 804ss from japan and i was able to successfully unlock and upgrade to original z540. PM me if you are interested and i will contact you. the good thing about this is that you will use the USB cable provided by your phone, no more buying special cables.
