Prtivate Robert E. Prewitt (Montgomery Clift) in From Here to Eterenity
 
I don't mean the sexiest movie stars, but which character(s) do you find sexy?

For me it is Maximum in Gladiator, Daniel Craig's James Bond- I love a tortured soul;)and Kevin Costner's character in The Bodyguard:o

I don't find any of the above actors particularly attractive but the characters "do it" for me:D:o
 
There's quite a few where i don't fancy the actor at all, but strangely find them really attractive and secy in character, some already mentioned but my list includes :-

Aragorn in LOTR - Viggo Mortensen
Maximus in Gladiator - Russell Crowe
Johnny Castle - Dirty Dancing - Patrick Swayze
Blade - Wesley Snipes
and especially
Jason Bourne - Bourne Films - Matt Damon
 
Ray Winston in Compulsion - sex on legs - Would have gone to that caravan park with him any day

Oh, and Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs

Vivien Rutledge (Lauren Bacall) in The Big Sleep. Such a bitch, but still totally captivating. :)

Ginger in 'Ginger Snaps'. If only because she reminded me of one of my first ever tv crushes - Harmony Parker in The Queen's Nose. :)

Also Ronna in 'Go!'.
 
Yes I have a copy of this film - he could bite my neck any time at all - the scene between him and Kate Nelligan's character when they finally got to bed is one of the sexiest I've seen.

Although he is getting on a bit now he's still got sex appeal and charisma.

(The scene which is supposed to be the harbour at Scarborough near the end is actually Mevagissey in Cornwall which I know well and earlier the island you can see in the background when he is carrying off his lover is St Michael's Mount).
 
I was going to say Gabriel Byrne's character in Princess Caraboo. He's adorable.

DEFINITELY! I never cared much for the book character, but I couldn't take my eyes of Aragorn in the films. Viggo doesn't do anything for me in any of his other roles...

I'd add Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Man in Black from The Princess Bride (he makes me faint a bit), and Kip in The English Patient.
 
*Sigh* I totally agree. It's got to be one of the sexiest scenes in a film EVER. The mood, the anticipation, the atmosphere...and they keep their clothes on! I'm a bit flushed thinking about it. Will have to watch it again tonight! ;)
