Do you mean while you have the mumps? I don't see why not except that they are contagious and I wouldn't want to spread them to someone else. Mumps are highly contagious and can be spread by kissing, sneezing, sharing food and such. Mumps in a young adult male can cause sterility also.
Personally I would stay away from folks until you aren't contagious-which is 9days after the outbreak.
