My straight roommate and I are close friends. I respect him a lot and enjoy his company. He's fun to hang around with and gets along with all my friends. The same with me.
More than once, he mentioned to me and some of our friends how he would like to try it out with another guy. I don't want to give details, but there's been strong "clues" that lead me to believe it's something he might want to try with me.
I value our friendship a lot and I feel comfortable enough with him and my sexuality that if he were to ask me I would be willing to try it with no strings attached. I know him well enough to know he's straight and I would rather him experience something with me, then with some random stranger. I also feel safe enough to know he wouldn't just run away. I think that this experience could get us closer as friends and remove I guess this curiosity for him.
He doesn't seem able to ask me directly, but rather he will just send me hints. I guess I could just enjoy the friendship and not make anything of it, but I am curious myself about being with a girl and I know that I would rather it be with a really good friend then some stranger. Ideally I would like to talk about it, but how do you approach such a thing? And is it my place to do so? Or should I just go with the flow and when/if he's ready let him approach me?
