Well, theres this girl (hopefully), and we agreed that if we were to ever have sex, we would wait at least 2 years, maybe more. But, should I? I'll be 16 by the time that rolls around, and I wouldn't dream of it now, I'm still too young. Is 16 alright, if I know what I'm doing? I know I need to love the person, not just find her "sexy", I need to use protection, and I know I have to take responsibility for any negative outcomes. After 2 years of thinking by these lines, would I be ready? She's at the same thinking state as me, so, we're about equal. Religious, scientific, and personal reasoning welcome.
