my boyfriend and i both care for each other a lot, and were ready to have sex. hes not a virgin, but i am...so here's the question : what can i do so that my hymen doesnt break when we have sex? or how can i break it painlessly before we have sex? please dont tell me i'm too young. im a senior in highschool. thanks for your help!
thanks Katelyn! ive used tampons ever since i stared my period, and im not even sure if i do have a hymen or not. i just dont want to be embarrassed if it does break and starts bleeding. my friends just say that sex hurts pretty bad the first time, and i dont want it to hurt. thats all.
 
You could try using a dildo that would def break it. Also it really doesnt hurt that bad just use some lube and go slow itll be fine..
 
well your sex ed class sucks. put a tampon in it will break. or do the splits. also when you start your period it dries up and falls out (at least mine did) I think its purpose is to keep dirt and infection out of the vagina of under developed children.
 
you hymen may already be broken from sports or horseback riding but there's no way to tell until you have sex.. you can't have sex w/o breaking it and it doesn't break painlessly!
 
Why don't you want it to break? There really isn't a way, my hymen broke from a tampon, so i guess you can try that but i wouldn't on purpose. Some day it will break, so i think its just a good idea to let it happen when it happens and not worry about it. is it because you dont want him to know you're a virgin? he will understand. Just let it happen. Sometimes it hurts and you bleed and sometimes it doesnt. Lay a towel underneath you beforehand so it will keep the bed or where ever clean. I bled just a little but it didnt hurt really that much.. so just hang in there.
