I have been married for about 2 months now (we have been together for 10 years though….never lived together before marriage). I don’t find my husband as enthusiastic about sex like he was before we got married, I suppose its because we used to meet once a week before we got married and now…im just there.
I find the urge to have sex atleast once in 3-4 days, it not just about the sex but more the intimacy. I go to bed about 10.30 and he stays awake playing XBOX. I don’t want to restrict him from playing as I don’t want him to feel imprisoned but at the same time…it annoys me (he asks me if its ok for him to play XBOX)
I don’t want to always initiate sex as I never had to and shouldn’t always have to. I am a bit shy to talk to him about it as I don’t want to come across as one horny wifey.
I once indirectly mentioned our “non-existent” sex life and he said something along the lines of how having sex often could make it boring, therefore once a week or once is 10 days is good.
Am I missing something or is it normal to want sex only once a week or once in 10 days (like we used to before we got married)
What do you think?? How can I approach the subject without offending him or coming across as over-sexed (which I don’t think I am)….
Thanks
