Sex during pregnancy?

I am 13 weeks pregnant, and Ive only had one doctors visit (i will be going next week for my second) how do I know if its ok for me to have sex during pregnancy. My doctor did not tell me if it was ok or not on my last visit. How do you know?
 
It's always ok unless your doctor has told you not to because of any high risk conditions, like previous miscarriages or preterm labor, etc.
 
In a normal pregnancy meaning as long as you are not high risk, you can have sex all the way up until your water breaks. As long as you don't feel pain or have any bleeding you will be fine.
 
It is perfectly fine to have sex during pregnancy. (in fact its better) ;)

the only reason you should not have sex is if you are bleeding. Most women have sex up until their due date. But it tends to slow down during the last trimester due to the bulging belly. But don't worry hun! its perfectly fine. :)
 
As long as it doesn't hurt you or if you don't start to bleed after sex you should be fine. Or you could just wait till your next appointment to have sex.
 
Unless you are having complications, its perfectly fine. Make sure to talk with your OB/GYN at your next visit...
 
it is perfectly fine to have sex during pregnancy, better do it now while you can and still want to.... i am 26 weeks and i don't ever want to and when we do it is so awkward that we can't even enjoy ourselves. good luck in your pregnancy!!
 
my wife and I had sex until she was like 7 months pregnant we only had to fin positions where the baby wouldn't get hurt

It's ok. Unless there's a reason not to,such as complications,which your doctor will tell you. It's fine. Anyone that actually KNOWS anything (there are lots of answers that seem this way,well known!) the dad can NOT hurt the baby while having sex.
 
Unless you are a high risk pregnancy or having any complications then is totally safe to have sex during pregnancy. It is actually good for you. Do a little research so you can get all the facts.
