Sex Discrimination to pregnant woman at McDonald restaurant in UK. How much she...

...can claim and for what? My friend has offered a job at McDonald exactly 1 month before from now. She had been call for an induction where she declared that she is 6 week pregnant.

Since then manager has not forwarded her file to management and have not been called at work.

I know she can claim for lose of earning. But how about unnecessary stress and losing seniority + free meal a day policy.

Is there any thing missing here what she can claim for?
 
Why would your friend even waste her time claiming anything from Mcdonalds?
Tell her to get over it and go get a real job, Mcdonalds has nothing to offer.
 
I don't think you have a legal claim if she hasn't been formally employed by macdonalds
 
free meal a day policy! are you joking! doesnt seem like they have done that much wrong to me she wont have a leg to stand on. gosh some people want all they can grab these days!

oh and how is it sex discrimination? seems like a mistake to me doesnt seem like its because shes a woman or pregnant!
