Sex and the City movie - which certificate?

Been searching high and low this morning trying to find out what certificate the SATC movie is going to be.

On posters in my local cinema it is 'TBC'.

I am of legal age myself :p but my sister is 15 and really wants to see it.

Anyone know?

It'll be a 15, with frequent sexual references, strong sexual languange and maybe one scene of partial nudity.

That's my guess, I'm now off the the BBFC to find out exactly (assuming they've rated it).

[EDIT]: That is strange, the BBFC haven't classified it yet, odd considering it's already been screened in a UK theatre, even if it was the world premier.[EDIT]

Exactly, there's no way they would be able to make it a 12A either, as it would water it all down so ridiculously.

Plus it would also prevent Samantha from getting "the C word" in there at least once, that's a SATC law.

We have been selling tickets for SITC for the last few weeks and were told to give it an 18 certificate, as this is what the distrubitor was expecting the BBFC to class it.

Would you really want a 15yr old to watch that? I wouldn't even let them watch some of the tv episodes as some of the scenes were quite graphic. Not appropriate viewing for a young teen IMO. It will defo be an 18. Besides there target audience is more early 20's onwarRAB.

the bbfc looked at it yesterday so should release the certificate today or tomorrow.

of course if Entertainment (the distributer) aren't happy with it (i.e. if it gets an 18), then they may cut it down a bit to get the 15 they are hoping for.

Well it's not really up to me, if she is 15 and it's rated a 15 it's her choice if she wants to see it

To the poster who said it wouldn't be a 12 - No one said that
