My mom is 69 years old. She recently had her gall badder removed for gallstones about 7 months ago. Recently she has been experiencing severe abdominal pain with severe burning/severe pain feeling underneath her breast area. She seem to get spasms in her stomach that starts off with pain and then has to run to the bathroom. Others symptoms include puking feeling, dizzeness, loss of appetite, pain that shoots to the back. The pain is so SEVERE that she literally passes out and has been to the ER several times recently. Has anyone experience this and has any idea what it can be?
She had several blood tests and series of other test regarding the stomach area but they all have come back NORMAL. She is frustrated and is losing her wits and can't take the pain most of the time.
Someone told me that is came be the pancreas because in lies behind the stomach area. But would her blood test taken at the ER detect a problem with that specific organ.
Any replies would be appreciated!
