severe pain in hip and leg when laying down

I have severe pain in hip and leg when laying down and now when walking and standing for any length of time. Surgery in 1993, L5 S1, left my lower leg nurab but I have dealt with this without problems. In the past 2 months I have developed severe pain in left hip, radiates down leg and into foot/ankle. It never seems to be in same place, seems to jump from muscle to muscle. Lack of sleep is common which is creating more stress. The doctor treated me for sciatica but it has not been successful. I now suffer from incontinence and constant indigestion . Anyone have any suggestions that I could put to my physician?

I would think if you give more information - would help us to give you an advice...
Were you diagnosed with somethinig previosly?
Did you ever had back injures, problems?
Any tests were performed like MRI or CT?

My understanding is that she did have back surgery in 93', right?!! Anyhow are you experiencing back pain now too? Incontinence...that really makes me think that you are experiencing back problems, maybe the pain isn't there but it is in your hip, leg etc. I think because of the incontinence, I wouldn't wait, I would get an MRI done ASAP and find out what is going on exactly. what did your doctor say when you told him that you were experiencing the incontinence?
