Severe leak in '96 Chevy Corsica?

Water from the water reservoir runs out instantly from a hose no one can seem to identify. It is near the oil filter. Someone suggested it might be a drainage hose and the reason my car has this problem has to do with the water pump. But others aren't sure. We have looked in the manual and it has not been very helpful.

What I need to know is does a '96 Chevy Corsica have a drainage hose? If it doesn't does anyone know what this hose could be to? We have searched to see if it hooked up to something, but there is nothing it can reach. Its a small L shaped hose and I'm not sure if a part fell off somewhere or if there was never a part there to begin with. Also if anyone else has ever had this problem or something similar I'd like to know what you did to solve it. Thanks in advance for any help.
I called it a water reservoir, but that may not be the real term. Its where you put the coolant in. It didn't overheat when I drove it home when it was leaking, but haven't drove it since. The water just flows out when any is put in.
 
water reservoir most cars dont need to run they just hold and catch over flow if and when car over heats so... is car over heating and pushing water out or is it just a bad reservoir which you can replace type how to check over heating car into searchbox or take it to a shop
 
It is possible that a '96 Chevy Corsica has a drainage hose but I do not think that that is where your problem is at though. I think that your problem lies at your radiator hose is leaking.The radiator hose will lead you to the radiator.What you are calling a water reservoir is your radiator and that hose that is shaped like a small L is the radiator hose. Or it is possible that you have a hole in the radiator hose. What I think that what you should do is get under neith the car and stay away from the hose enough that you are not going to get wet. Have someone gently pour water into the radiator then see if there is a leak. If there is a leak there is no way to patch it up. So you will have to go get another small L shaped hose. Before you leave the house if there is a leak remmber to measure the size of the hose.
