i have been told i have foraminal stenosis. all i can find is everyone says it mostly affects the neck, back and arms. my pain is so severe in my head that i jerk, my eyes go very bloodshot, my hands seize up and the pain is uncontrollable, eventually i seem to black out for a few minutes and then slowly come round. can anyone else understand this please,

I was dx'd with severe foraminal stenosis on the left side of c7-t1, plus a few other big words. I've had this gross headache for 4+ years now. It literally drove me nuts. I ended up going to a pain psychologist. You might want to check that out.

I wish I could offer some advice or encouragement but I can't yet. I use pain meds when I have to and I also use a lot of ice. I basically try to freeze my head. At least it is a different kind of pain.

A few questions for you. What happened? How long have you had this going on? What disc level is it on and what side?

Take care, Matt
