Here is the guide that i used step by step in this order to get cricket WAP to work on my Verizon Treo 650 (which is flashed)

I owe this thread to trone, who recived lots of BS and crap for trying to explain how this is done.....I thank trone tho, for helping me and this is dedicated to him. ALL CRED to him !

Step 1:

Go to PREFS in on your treo

Step 2:

Change the service to : MYCRICKET

Step 3:
Connection: High Speed Wireless

Step 4:
User Name: (your phone nuraber with are code) @ mycricket.com

Step 5:
Passward (make it) : cricket (ALL lower case, make sure)

Step 6:
Go to details and uncheck mobile IP.......
LEAVE ip address checked ! & LEAVE Query DNS checked !

NEXT steps are required for you to go into the web browser

Step 7:
Click browser, go to options then down to prefs

Step 8:
Make the home page to exactly the following:
http://wap.cricket.motricity.com

Step 9:
Go to advanced tap and click use custom proxy.....click it and make it exactly
wa[.mycricket.com and make the port: 8080

Step 10:
Load up web and your done ! Give it time if it is loading......let it fully recive and after you should have your cricket page with the green backround. your done!

trone showed me this step by step and it worked, he is not lying like most people insist....it worked for me. IF you have any problems post them.....

REMErabER: This how-to was excuted on my treo 650 not any other pda phone that has been flashed, so i cannot entirely say it will work for everyone....since i dont have anyother flashed pda on cricket

I will keep UPDATING as stuff comes in...

on your phone when you follow those same steps just create a connection in your phone to cricket then go to advanced tab and select network management, 2 drop down menus select "mycricket" then go down to edit and select the 2 tabs " this network connects to the internet"
this network uses a proxy server add the wap.mycricket.com. next is an advanced tab enter the wap listed above inall 4 boxes
 
Hey thanks a million....it works!!!....i know have internet on my 6700.....i am so happy!!....no i have to figure out how to go to other site outside the portal....any ideas??.....well thanks anyway

hey trone....is it normal like if i got to ebay for the pictures not to come up ? I go into ebay through the cricket WAP and looks up stuff but the pics are blocked with a X in the box.....y is this?
 
You read my mind.. I dont see why that would be a problem besides crappy speeRAB.. Perhaps the vx6700 DUN tutorial on the verizon forums can be of help.. :2thurabs:
