My landlady has bought me a wireless router. The problem is I think it is for PC's and I use a Mac. The mac detects it and connects fine but I believe my neighbours are using it too so I would like to put a password on it.
I have been reading up trying to find out how to set it up but I do not understand any of the technical jargon people use
When I try and run the installation it won't work due to it being made for PC's.
The router is a SMC Barricade. I have been told I need to find out it's IP address atoo but have no idea how to go about doing that either. As you can probably see.. I really do not have a clue.
Any help would be much appreciated.
