Setting up a gardening/grass cutting service, what do I need?

I’m thinking about setting up a business providing a gardening/grass cutting service. My neice is an accountant and has offered to do my books but what else do I need (apart from equipment!)? I’m thinking I must need insurance – what exactly do I need? Can anybody point me in the right direction?
