Seting up my voicemail, asks if I want to add a 10 digit number?

I just got a cricket phone this morning. I was messing around in my voicemail settings and option 4, temporary settings, asks if I want to add the nuraber I was calling from or add another 10 digit nuraber. Exactly what is this for? What am I adding a 10 digit nuraber too and why?

option 4 for me is personal options menu it i hit option 4 again for preferences it asks me about the pin but none of the other options you are talking about?

it says temporary options. Then when I go to it it basically asks, would you like to add the ten digit nuraber you are calling from? press 1 , if you would like to add a different ten digit nuraber press 2.

I tried it again today and now it says Add a temporary forwarding nuraber. I guess thats what it is it just didn't say it before
