After watching it again, I agree with that. I only laughed at the King. At least with the new episode, I can expect a new way for the King to act.
 
I thought the horse thing might be the aftermath of that old joke that starts with a horse walking into a bar and ends with the punchline "So why the long face?" But it's usually the bartender that says that.
 
Man, watching these lame cartoon shorts just affirms how awesome and ahead of its time Freakazoid truly was.

I mean credit to Seth McFarlane for creating an empire and a bunch of popular characters, but man . . . oh man.

Just makes me glad we have shows like Freakazoid on DVD now.
 
Not to mention "Genius of Parody". Although, to be fair, I'm not sure whether we're supposed to take those superlatives seriously, or if they're meant to be tongue in cheek.

Doesn't really matter though, because what I saw left me completely cold.
 
It occurs to me that these would probably be going over better if they hadn't given away the entire joke to most of them in that little preview reel.
