Service and Phone (plz help...i need a decision fast)

Alright, first off, I have no service. Verizon is out the door, I just got rid of them (THANK GOD!). I need to figure out a service provider. I am pretty sure I want to go with T-Mobile. I want GSM, NOT CDMA. Cingular seems to be too expensive. T-Mobile has the unlimited texting and also Total Internet (which includes surfing on PDAs and Hotspots). I want the T-Mobile MDA. I am aware other service providers have the same phone, but again, I like T-Mobile. I am still deciding, so any other thoughts on service would be good.

The MDA is my top choice because of touch screen, slide out keyboard, microsoft products like outlook, excel, word, and powerpoint, and it will let me edit any of them, plus bluetooth.

I am in a bit of a bind because I dont have a job or credit card right now, and my mom won't pay for my phone anymore. I am working on both, and hopefully will have both very soon. The problem seems to be that everyone does a credit check, and I have no credit. Pay as you go is a joke. Im broke. I can't afford that crap.

So, thoughts on how to negotiate with Tmobile for the time being in regards to paying? Also, where can I get a T-Mobile MDA that is new (I refuse to budge on that) as cheap as possible? I was thinking ebay and amazon, but any other thoughts would be helpful.

Also, are there any good hacks with the MDA (like free web...maybe using proxies, texting, or just cool hacks on the phone itself)?

Thanks everybody

Have you checked the coverage areas where you will be using the phone to make sure T-Mo has coverage.

And the second thing, if you are broke, why do you need a cell phone? They can get very expensive with voice and data plans. You are going to have to pay to get what you want.

yea, coverage is good. and i should have a job here very shortly. its mainly a credit concern, both building it and convincing tmobile to give me service.
