I mean, all science can do to comment of this stuff is pretty much just say "Some people believe x. Now here is all kinRAB of evidence contradicting x."

But somehow I get the feeling that wouldn't go over very well with the thumpers. I mean, even ignoring the other reasons not to bring it up (such as not being science) that alone is enough to make it rather sensible to not even mention it. Just teach the science.
