Seriously, are there any good media players?

This will be a question (with a little bit of a rant).

What is it with all these crappy media players?!

WMP:
I started off with Windows Media Player which was going good until then my music collection went over 500 at which point it became absolutely useless. It was so buggy, it kept changing album art automatically, adding in information, taking songs out of the library. Plus it lagged hopelessly. I recently became so fed up I uninstalled it.

Realplayer:
K, so this is what I'm using now. Still not as stable as I had hoped. But nice and straightforward. But I'm still not entirely content... It freezes up a lot, which causes huge lag.

iTunes:
K, so I download the newest version to see if I like it and it doesn't even work. Typical. I open it up and it says some crap about 'the folder iTunes cannot be found or created, and is required'. Can anyone help me with this??

MediaMonkey:
I've tried this and it was alright but it was so damn cluttered. 6 billion user interface buttons, I had no idea what I was doing and the help was just confusing. Plus it kept making random folders, and it also lagged on startup.

Can anyone suggest a GOOD media player to me. One that is quick, reliable, simple, handles lots of music easily. I also need some sort of auto-volumer for my playlists.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
iTunes, Realplayer and WMP work fine for those who have 100 songs and don't give a crap about organisation. This has nothing to do with my PC abilities, everyone of these programs has bugs and running errors.

the media players are fine thats what i call and eye dee ten tee error
write it down
vlc is simple but its not going to do what you want with play lists
and maybe you learn how to use a computer before you go and say whats wrong with these. itunes and wmp and realplayer work fine
