Serious eyeball problem Need educated advice?

Earlier today in one of my questions I was saying i couldn't get my contact off because for some reason my eye hurt SUPER bad.. Well I finally got it off and now I have I think a serious problem.

It almost feels like there is a bulge on my eye. The pain is not only strong but very annoying I cant close my eye. Which means I cant sleep! I fell asleep for 25 minutes and woke up in pain and snot all over my face for some reason. My eye its very irritated its nearly blood red. It took me over and hour too get used ot my kitchen light.

I'm 17 and my parents are in Vegas and im here alone. Should I make the trip to the hospital right now or could I wait till morning to get a hold of my relatives? HELP
 
it sounds like you might have a bad dry eye or maybe a very bad irritation. you should see an eye doctor like, right away. i can sort of relate to how you feel, a year ago, this happened to me. i had to practically pinch my contacts off with my nail, my eyes hurt with light, they burned, literally.
 
its probably just red and boldging from you messing with it, poking it too many times trying to get the contact lens out. don't try to drive, cause of ur eye, you wont be able to see well. i would call your parents in the morning, or call a friend to take you to the ER if it doesnt get better... or if it gets worse...
 
i think you should get yer relatives to take you to emergency right now. it's better to be safe than sorry. you might have an infection and it could damage yer eye permanently if you don't get it treated right away.
 
you can wait
for now take some pain killers.....dont take any more than 3 every 6 hours
go in a really dark room an try to get some sleep
contact your parents as soon as possible
whatever they tell you to do do it
unless your eye begins to have puss in it then it would be a problem
as soon as you notice puss in your eye go to the hospital
