so does anyone know if S60v3 Feature Pack 2 will be running on the e60 any time soon?

It's never going to run on any of the current V3's available. It will be on future handsets only.

indeed, and not even on the handsets that were recntly announced, like the E90 and others... it is most likey for the 2008 phones...

So far the E-series have released in a fairly timely manner so that should be no problem.
