Howard asked me to spread the word on this one. He gave us some Wiki space to work with, and I spent the last couple hours adding a bunch of data in. It's pretty rough right now, but I've tried to at least give us a sense of direction, for anyone that wants to add to it. If you see errors in my data, correct away (that's what wiki's are for), because I was hella tired while adding all the info.

Address is:

http://wiki.howardforums.com/series60

Enjoy! And add to it PLEASE I don't wanna update it all myself!

N90 info is wrong in main display 65k instead 262,144 and that it is bluetooth 2.0 which is 1.2 I would change it but im not adept at that type of stuff

Yah, there is a lot of info in there that could probably stand to be combed over. I pulled the specs from www.symbian.com, and they don't always have everything right (which is funny, since it's symbian's official website). I just wanted to get us started. You can go in and edit it yourself! Just click on the edit button next to the section you want to edit, then erase the bad info and put good info in!

LOL, i'm at work, i keep hofo open in the background all day...

Yeah, that's what i want, something that can just be added to constantly... the FAQ forum is a pain in the *** in a lot of ways... whereas the Wiki has a table of contents, and is searchable.

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: Nokia6682/2.0 (3.01.1) SymbianOS/8.0 Series60/2.6 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Sounds like i picked a good time to get a s60 device.Thanks.

Yes it will work but that's a problem since the IP will change next time. Also if the whole range of IP addresses is blocked anyone using that provider will be blocked.

Are you planning something???

Ok, fidorulz told me what s up on the wiki (been out of touch for a few days), so I emailed Howard to change it so that you have to create a login on the wiki page to edit... this gives us SOME control over it, and at least acts as a mild deterrant to would be vandals. I'll keep you guys posted when Howard gets back to me.

Thanks, and the wiki is looking kickass!

*EDIT* that was quick, Howard got back to me already... he fixed it so now you have to have a login to post to the wiki... so that's a start at least.

WOW!!! I tried the speed up the ui note thing and it really works!!!! thats amazing!!! did y'all know about that one? I cant beleave how big a difference that made!!! who put that up there? Also anyone got any other ways to speed it up?

Is there any way for us to improve the search option? It gives results but you cant really do anything with them.

It would be nice if you could click on one of the results and it would bring you to the article.
