Serial cable for TX for OBD readers?

I want to use a program that requres a serial cable and my TX. Problem is I can't find if a serial cable is available for it. Its for the OBD gauge 1.8 program using Scantool hardware. The OBD spec specifically says a USB to serial adaptor will not work.
I have searched for other OBD readers that can be used on Palm, but their prices are much more.
Any cable compatible? Any daisy chain of adaptors possible? How about a serial to Bluetooth wireless adaptor?

Thanks, and I am sure I will have more questions. This is my first Palm.

This interface box would probably do it but depending upon your software supplier......is their software compatabile on the TX?

I've used several different OBD "readers" and they all tend to be a generation behind when using the Palm for output readings. The wifi of the TX makes it attractive but I'm not certain who is supporting it.

If your using AES for the on board Palm software - send them an email as they are pretty responsive normally.
