Serial cable for T5 ?

Does anyone know if the new T5 can use a serial interface and if there is a cable available. I wish to continue using my serial GPS mouse and am thinking of upgrading from a T/T.
 
I've not seen any sepcs for the new connector, so don't know if serial (RS-232) cable is possible for T5.

Please be aware that some sites improperly list that they have a serial calbe for T5. And when I checked it out farther, it turned out it was the SAME model number as the one for the T3/T2/T.... And we all know that is WRONG.
 
I'm a Palm Product Specialist at Circuit City (Lanhorne, PA USA) there is only a USB cable for the T5. There is no serial cable for the T5. I guess, like usual, PalmOne has assumed that everyone has USB ports. :p :rolleyes:

To me this was one (of many) reasons I DID NOT upgrade to T5. I'm happy with my upgrade to T3 instead. :D

I have a serial GPS and occasionally program switches/servers via serial, as a regular terminal is hard to use in our crowded computer rooms.
