Was just sitting around listening to the soundtrack form this film and it made me want to declare how awesome it is!

One of the best sci-fi movies of all time, imo. Any other fans out there?
 
All time is pushing it, but I do enjoy it. :p I saw it before Firefly though and something was spoilt, so please watch the series before Serenity if you haven't seen either.
 
It must have been wierd seeing it before you saw the series.

When Wash died, I felt numb, a feeling that lasted well after the film had finished. If I hadn't built up suc tremedous affection for the characters by watching the series, I'm not sure it would have had the same impact.

As much as I liked the film, there was not enough Kaylee in it, even if she did get to deliver a fantastically dirty line.
 
I also love her "Screw this, I'm gonna live!" after Simon admits his feelings for her.

Kaylee is my favourite character (but I love them all. Such a great cast)

Think my fave moment from the film, though, is when Serenity exits the dust-cloud and the Operative thinks he's got them, then -

An armada of Reaver ships comes flying out behind them. The Op's reaction has to be one of the best "Oh sh!t" moments in film!

Mal was right, they never saw that one coming!
