Serendipity - 1:05am Christmas Day - BBC1 - Watch it!

I can't begin to tell you how underrated this film is - it's AMAZING! It's a rom-com, but it never feels forced and there are no token "joke scenes", it is simply a very touching film. If you can't be bothered to stay up then Sky+ it - truly not to be missed.

Basic plot: A man and a woman meet in Bloomingdales department store, New York, on a Christmas Eve and spend an amazing evening together in the city. On departing, they decide that "fate" will bring them together and, years later, they set out to find each other.

Its one of my all time favourite movies ... I have the DVD worn out...its sheer bliss from start to finish.

John Cusack, who I would watch in anything, is adorable in this, and Kate Beckinsale is just gorgeous as Sarah.

It would have been a cop out to make Jonathan and Sarah's respective fiances unlikeable people - what I really liked was basically their respective partners were lovely people, and the only thing wrong with them was they were not Jonathan and Sarah.

How many people will be tempted to write their name in a book after this movie and send it out to the universe !!! ahhhh cant wait to see it again.
